OF LAND, SEA & VINE

A Relais & Châteaux Escape on Croatia’s Pelješac Peninsula

Experience the soul of southern Croatia from the sun-drenched pool deck of Villa Korta Katarina—a Relais & Châteaux sanctuary where architectural elegance meets the untamed beauty of the Adriatic coast. Perched above the shoreline in Orebić, this luxury villa invites you to slow down, savor, and immerse yourself in a world where every detail is curated for emotional resonance.

Just steps from the villa, Korta Katarina Winery invites you to delight in the Pelješac Peninsula’s storied terroir with bold Plavac Mali and crisp Pošip, each glass a tribute to Croatia’s winemaking heritage. At the Restaurant & Seaside Terrace, rising above the Adriatic’s shimmering edge, Dalmatian flavors meet cinematic views—where seasonal dishes, award-winning wines, and salt-kissed breezes turn every meal into a memory.

For those drawn to the water, M/Y Katharine transforms the Adriatic into your private domain. Glide across sapphire waves, cradled in the ocean-swept air, and discover hidden coves that feel untouched by time—an experience reserved for those who seek elegance in motion.

This is luxury redefined on the Dalmatian coast—where land, sea, and vine converge in perfect harmony. The Pelješac Peninsula offers nature’s finest canvas, and Villa Korta Katarina paints it with warmth, exclusivity, and timeless beauty.

THE OWNERS

Americans Lee and Penny Anderson have a deep and enduring love for exceptional wine and cuisine, and an equally abiding appreciation for exceptional service. Having travelled to post-war Croatia with a humanitarian organization in 2001 to provide aid to the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina, they later decided to merge these two passions in the founding of Korta Katarina.

Today, one of their greatest joys is welcoming like-minded wine connoisseurs, gastronomes, and adventurers from around the world to the exclusive oasis they’ve created on the Adriatic coast and onto the exquisite luxury yacht that navigates her waters.
